While releasing intense grooves and hard hitting thrash beats throughout, Animus still keeps up with melody and multiple vocal styles to create what is Animus; an original 4 piece metal band from St. Louis, MO. Originally formed in 1999, Animus has had a few line up changes while growing stronger with the original 4 founding members. Animus' first release [ Modern Innuendo ] was released in 2001 and is currently out of print. Due to personal reasons, Animus had to take a break but was reformed by the 4 founding members in early 2004. To this day, Animus is at it's highest peak with plenty of new hard hitting material to be released in the near future.
