WINNER LIST:

CHUNKSOFMEAT PRODUCTIONS will be hosting the BATTLE OF THE BAD ASS BANDS 5 On Friday October 28th, November 4th, 11th, and 18th at JUST BILLS. One band from each battle will move on to the final Bad Ass Battle on Saturday December 3rd.  The 4 finalist will be runner ups for the "Chunks of St. Louis Vol 2" compilation cd to be released in 2006. The winning band will have a reserved slot on the next compilation with one song recorded at Chunksofmeat recording studios and receive $500 cash and their band name proudly displayed on the Chunksofmeat/Just Bills plaque. Bands will be judged on a point system that will consist of performance, crowd participation, originality, and over all image!!! The judges have been selected to be of no relation to any band to give all fairness to everyone in all music genre’s. No more than 4 bands per night in for the Battles. Each band will get no more than 40 minutes to show there stuff. So get your bid in now! Each Friday Battle will be $5 per head $7 18 to 20, these funds will pay the winner of the finals only.

BATTLE RULES:
1) Bands must play original music ONLY and live near the St. Louis area (less than 100 miles) (This rule has changed 9/10/2005, national bands can now join in on our battles due to some killer national bands coming into Just Bills, only by selection through cd, mp3 and web site or if you have played a Chunksofmeat show)
2) ***NEW***  Bands now have to be selected for these battles.  If you have not played a Chunksofmeat show you must provide an mp3/website or send in a cd for review (Professionalism a must)

3) Bands must show up and have equipment in Just Bills by 7:30 for position to play drawing.
4) Each band gets no more than 40 minutes to show your stuff (setup time must be minimized. Drummers have your drums set up and ready)
5) Each band gets equal sound and lighting
6) All funds made on these Friday nights will pay the winner on the Finals on December  3rd
7) Bands must be present at end of night for winner acceptance to the finals.
8) Please support all STL bands as we do, Rock Star attitudes will not be accepted.
9) The winner of each night will be required to play in the Finals on Saturday December 3rd, or the second runner up band will benefit.
10) If your band has a history of Rock Star ides, thinking your band is better than every other band, crying and bad mouthing everyone else because your band did not win etc..., then this show is not for your band. This is about having fun and supporting the scene.

DISCLAIMER: Chunksofmeat Productions puts on these Battles for fun and should not be taken seriously in degrading any band. Chunksofmeat supports all it's bands equally and we expect the same from your band. We are not creating a competitive musical market, but merely just a fun event to gather the musicians to support each other. If you or your band think your better than others in some egotistical form, do not sign up for this event because when you loose from being overly confident and disagree with the judges, we don't want to hear your band crying or bad mouthing Chunksomeat or any other band. Sore losers will not be accepted. Thank you and let's have fun.
