Midshift is a heavy hitting band from Springfield, IL. All four members live in and around the city. Midshift is: Mike Rabbe - Vocals Nick Beal - bass Sean Welker - guitars Paul Lockwood - drums They deliver a high-energy live show that brings national presentation to the local scene. The band has a unique sound and style, with all members having a wide range of influences, derived from all types of music. Midshift was formed in 2002 by Sean and another guitar player, soon to be joined by bassist Nick and drummer Paul. The band played for a year before adding vocalist, Rabbe, in 2003, making the band complete. Although fresh to the scene, the band has quickly gained respect from their peers in the midwest, a growing fan base, and national acts as well. Midshift has shared the stage with bands such as Pissing Razors, Ra, Slaves on Dope, and Presence. This is only the beginning of what this band from the midwest has to offer.
